The second Tactic they will use is to make it as hard as possible for you to cancel
before the end of the Trial period. There are several ways they achieve this goal:
1) They will send you the product as late as possible so you don’t have enough time
to test it and cancel on time.
2) They will make it roughly impossible for you to communicate with them. (If you
can’t communicate, you can’t cancel. Be ready to spend hours on the phone trying
to reach someone on their customer support line).
Remember, if you can’t cancel before the end of the Trial Period, you will be enrolled
systematically in the automated billing program.
This is when things get complicated.
As soon as you have passed the Trial Period, the Billing Program will charge automatically
your Credit Card for... Pretty much... WHATEVER THEY WANT!!! Until you find out and
call your bank (but it’s too late, more on this later...)
At that point you should come to a scary conclusion: When you ordered your free trial,
you have forgotten the most important thing. This shows you how good these Internet
Marketers are. So I am going to give you a chance to figure it out now. Please think
about it and try to find what it is that you have completely forgotten about…
Did you figure it out?
How about pricing? Did you know how much you were going to be charged for each bottle?
Nope!!! It’s amazing how ordering something free for the first 15 days makes you
totally forget about what you will end up paying for that product on the 16th day.
Side Note: I have a theory: Since the Scammers are not afraid to be sued and can’t
be found (Off-Shore Companies, etc.), why should they even bother using “Real” Acai
Berry? They could potentially use “cheap” Fillers and make even more profits?!? Just
a theory. As you see, I am a very “Suspicious” person. Maybe one day, I will find
a way to have my own chemical analysis done on different products. It will be very
interesting.
So… Let’s go back to our pricing? I did my homework and I can give you some guidelines.
Here’s what you should know: Once you have passed the trial Period, your monthly
payments could vary from the high $40 (Legitimate companies) to the high $120 (Total
Scams). Interesting, isn’t it?
The worst deals I seen out there will charge you 3 times $120 on your first renewal.
That’s 360 Dollars!!! At that point, even if you find a way to cancel, it’s too late,
you have lost the $360.
I call the use of the free trial, The Third Tactic because it allows the scammers
to make you completely “unaware” of the actual price of their programs.
OK, let’s go back to our Automated Billing Program. 15 days after the end of your
Trial Period, you should be done with your first bottle and you will receive and
be charged automatically for the next 2 or 3 months of supplies (that’s the way it
works with all the continuation programs).
At that point, you can figure out if you have been “Scammed” or not.
If you are dealing with a legitimate Company, you should be charged less than $50
per bottle (hence per month) and that’s it. Nothing else!!! The best deal I found
out there was $97 for 2 bottles (including shipping) which puts the bottles at about
$43 (without shipping).
If you are dealing with a fraudulent Company, your first payment could be up to $360!!!
This is where your nightmare begins: You have been enrolled in a Program (or possibly
multiple Programs, which will be even more complicated to get out of).
Your credit card will be charged automatically for whatever the scammers have put
in their contract that you haven’t looked at because it’s very well hidden on their
Web Sites. You might be charged for additional products you have never thought of
ordering before, some will enrol you in multiple memberships that will take you forever
to track down and cancel, etc, etc.
Your monthly payments could be more than $300 bucks!!!
So… what do you think? Are you outraged?!? You should be!!
Do you think it’s illegal and that they should be arrested?
Think again.
Sorry to disappoint you but all this is absolutely legal. Why? Because officially,
you are the one who asked for it.
Yes, by accepting the Terms and Conditions (that you haven’t seen), you have agreed
(after the Trial Period) to be charged for all these things. The Terms and Conditions
should be on the Web Site, somewhere. Probably written in very small prints and well
hidden, but it is your responsibility to find them.
For the story, I have also found a Web Site (one of the top sellers) who would send
you a Pop-up Window (telling you to order quickly before they run out of trials)
as you are trying to read the Terms and Conditions in order to take your attention
away, forcing you to close the window and send you away from what you had so much
pain to find in the first place. As a result, even after 3 attempts, I have never
been able to read their Terms and Condition in their entirety. It’s Amazingly Brilliant!!!
These Scammers are Geniuses!!!
The only illegal “move” I found on the Internet, was the lies about the endorsements
from Oprah Winfrey, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and lots of other celebrities. I heard
that Oprah’s Channel was suing these companies, but it doesn’t look like anyone was
“Caught”. That’s what happens when smart Business Men and Lawyers setup Off-Shore
Corporations. Brilliant!!!
How do you get Scammed when you order Acai Berry on the Internet.
It’s a very complex yet very effective system. It took me a lot of time (and research)
to figure it out.
Get Ready!!! This is going to be Revealing for those of you who don’t know about
the Internet Scams!!!
